1 Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer", "User", or "You") and Shree Mata ("Shree Mata", "we", "us", or "our"), operating as Shree Mata Book Agency / Publication Center, Hubballi, Karnataka - 580031 (GSTIN: 29GZTPP0335K1ZL).

By browsing our website (https://shreemata.com), registering an account, purchasing educational books or curriculum packages, or using the Shree Mata Android mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must refrain from using the platform and services.

Capacity to Contract: You affirm that you are at least 18 years of age and competent to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you are accessing this platform on behalf of a minor student, you represent that you are the minor's parent, legal guardian, or authorized school authority, and you assume full responsibility for all activities, purchases, and payments executed under the account.

2 Account Registration & Security

To access features such as order tracking, order history, wallet rewards, digital curriculum notes, and referral earnings, customers must register for an account using a valid mobile number and email address.

• Account Confidentiality: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, login password, and sessions. You agree not to disclose your password to third parties.
• Accurate Details: You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete contact and shipping information during registration and checkout. Shree Mata is not liable for delayed dispatches, courier misroutings, or missed notifications arising from incorrect recipient details or telephone numbers provided by the customer.
• Account Security: You agree to notify us immediately at shree.mata.hbl@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to or compromise of your account.

3 Curriculum Products, Descriptions & Pricing

Shree Mata specializes in the distribution and publication of educational textbooks, Karnataka State Syllabus materials, CBSE curriculum guides, complete grade book sets, and supplementary study aids.

• Descriptions & Academic Editions: We endeavor to describe all textbooks, grade sets, and study guides as accurately as possible. However, educational publishers and syllabus boards periodically revise contents, editions, and cover illustrations. Minor packaging or edition variances consistent with the prescribed curriculum do not constitute a defect.
• Pricing in Indian Rupees: All prices listed on the website are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Shipping or courier delivery charges, where applicable, are calculated and presented during checkout before final payment confirmation.
• Pricing Corrections: In the rare event that a book, bundle, or service is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or technical glitch, Shree Mata reserves the right to contact the customer, provide the option to proceed at the correct price, or cancel the affected order prior to dispatch with a prompt notification.

4 Ordering, Order Confirmation, Cancellations & Return Policy

The placement of an order through our website or mobile application operates under the following conditions:

• Order Submission: Adding books or bundles to your shopping cart does not reserve inventory. An order is submitted when you complete the checkout process and authorize payment (or select an authorized offline payment method for institutional orders).
• Order Acceptance: Upon receiving your order, the system generates an order identification number. The automated order confirmation email or screen indicates receipt of your request and does not signify formal acceptance until physical stock is verified and prepared for fulfillment.
• Order Cancellations: Because book bundles and curriculum sets are prepared rapidly for dispatch, order cancellation requests must be communicated to our customer care team (+91 9986086278 / shree.mata.hbl@gmail.com) prior to physical parcel handover to courier partners or before order assembly for store pickup.

Return and Refund Policy

Once an order has been delivered to the customer, returns and refunds will not be accepted for reasons such as a change of mind or ordering the wrong product.

Exception for Damaged Products: If a product arrives damaged, the customer may contact Shree Mata customer support (+91 9986086278 / shree.mata.hbl@gmail.com) to report the damage and request a return, replacement, or refund, subject to verification and applicable consumer protection laws.

Customers should report any damage as soon as reasonably possible and provide the order details and supporting photographs, where available. Shree Mata will review the complaint and communicate the appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable law.

5 Payment Terms & Gateway Integration

Payment for textbook orders and services on Shree Mata is governed by the following terms:

• Authorized Payment Gateway: Online electronic transactions are processed via Razorpay. Customers may select authorized payment modes including UPI, Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Netbanking, or mobile wallets through Razorpay's interface.
• Payment Security: Shree Mata does not collect, handle, or store debit/credit card credentials, CVVs, or UPI PINs on its own infrastructure. All sensitive financial transaction information is processed directly by Razorpay under its applicable regulatory standards.
• School & Institutional Bulk Transfers: For educational institutions and schools ordering bulk curriculum bundles with approved offline settlement terms (such as direct bank transfer or school cheque), orders are released only upon administrative banking reconciliation and verified payment clearance.

6 Fulfillment: Courier Delivery & Store Pickup

Customers may choose between two fulfillment methods at checkout, depending on location and preference:

• Doorstep Courier Delivery: Physical book parcels are dispatched through commercial courier services (such as TPC India or postal/courier partners) to the delivery address provided during checkout. Estimated delivery timeframes are subject to courier transit operations, seasonal demand (e.g., academic school reopening rushes), and regional transit factors. Tracking numbers are provided via the Order Tracking page upon dispatch.
• Store Pickup (Hubballi Branch): Customers who elect store pickup can collect their prepared order directly from our Hubballi location:
  Pickup Location: Shree Mata Book Agency / Publication Center, Hubballi, Karnataka - 580031.
  Collection Requirement: Customers must present their confirmed Order ID and registered contact phone number to store staff upon collection.
• Inspection Upon Receipt: Customers are advised to examine delivered parcels or store pickup packages upon receipt to confirm that the package is sealed and that book titles match the order confirmation.

7 Digital Study Passes & Curriculum Notes

Where Shree Mata provides digital study passes, digital curriculum notes, or online educational guides (accessible via /notes.html or through our official Android mobile application), access is governed by strict intellectual property terms:

• Limited Reading License: Shree Mata grants authorized customers a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to view protected digital notes strictly within the official Shree Mata web reader or Android application for personal educational study.
• Screen Protection & Security: In accordance with native security measures implemented in our Android application (`ScreenSecurityPlugin` applying Android's FLAG_SECURE), screenshots, screen recording, and external capture mechanisms are technically blocked. Any attempt to circumvent, disable, or tamper with these security mechanisms is a material breach of these Terms.
• Prohibited Exploitation: Customers may not download, scrape, print, copy, distribute, sublicense, sell, rent, decompile, or upload Shree Mata proprietary study notes, solutions, or materials to third-party file repositories, study portals, or social media platforms.

8 Wallet Balances, Cashback & Referral Network

Shree Mata operates customer loyalty features including an in-app wallet and a structured referral network:

• Wallet & Cashback: Promotional cashback earned on qualifying book purchases is credited to the customer's Shree Mata wallet. Wallet balances may be redeemed toward eligible future purchases made through the Shree Mata platform. Wallet balances are non-transferable and do not accrue interest.
• Multi-Tier Referral Network: Shree Mata features a multi-level referral reward mechanism (allocating commissions across qualifying levels as configured in platform commission settings). Referral commissions accrue only upon verified, completed, and delivered customer orders that are not returned or cancelled.
• Prohibited Referral Manipulation: Customers may not engage in fraudulent, manipulative, or abusive referral activities, including creating duplicate or fake accounts, self-referring through multiple phone numbers, utilizing automated bots, or spamming public forums with unauthorized promotional scripts. Shree Mata reserves the right to review irregular accounts and withhold rewards derived from fraudulent activities.

9 Intellectual Property Rights

All website designs, logos, graphics, icons, text compilations, original study notes, software code, and brand identifiers (including "Shree Mata" and "Disseminating Knowledge") are the proprietary intellectual property of Shree Mata or are utilized under license.

Curriculum textbooks, board-specific syllabi, publisher emblems, and third-party trademarks referenced on the platform remain the intellectual property of their respective educational boards and commercial publishers. Their mention on this platform is solely for accurate identification of curriculum materials distributed by Shree Mata.

10 Permitted Platform Use & Prohibited Conduct

When accessing or using the Shree Mata website or application, you agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable local, state, or national laws of India.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers, user accounts, databases, or network infrastructure.
• Use web spiders, scrapers, data-mining tools, or automated scripts to harvest catalog pricing, user details, or proprietary notes.
• Introduce viruses, trojans, worms, or other malicious software intended to damage, interrupt, or compromise our platform operations.
• Engage in abusive, harassing, or fraudulent behavior toward our support staff, delivery partners, or fellow customers.

11 Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law:

• Service Provision: The website, mobile application, catalog, and digital study tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, other than those that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection legislation.
• Third-Party Operations: Shree Mata is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential delays arising from external courier transit disruptions, regional transport strikes, server outages beyond reasonable operational control, or gateway technical failures encountered by third-party payment providers like Razorpay.
• Liability Cap: In all circumstances, Shree Mata's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to any order shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by the customer for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

12 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to your use of the website, mobile app, or orders placed with Shree Mata, shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.

Subject to mandatory consumer protection dispute resolution forums provided under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the courts of competent jurisdiction situated at Hubballi, Karnataka, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all legal disputes arising out of these Terms.

13 Modifications & Contact Details

Shree Mata reserves the right to modify these Terms periodically. Any revised terms will be published on this page with an updated "Effective Date". Your continued use of the platform after updates have been posted constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
